McLaren look to finally control a weekend in Canada

McLaren have probably their best chance of the season to dominate a Grand Prix weekend in Canada.

But it was the Red Bull of Sebastian Vettel which topped the time sheets in second practice, against expectations.

Red Bull are clearly keen to show they have put Turkey behind them and dragging a result out of a weekend widely expected to benefit their Woking-based rivals is the best way to do that.

It should be a fascinating battle all weekend, especially as Michael Schumacher also seems keen to get his Mercedes in the mix.

McLaren will be quick and Sunday in particular should be very close all round.

The weather looks likely to be the biggest variable and I’d pick Jenson Button to come out on top of a complicated weekend.
